Our client is seeking a contract accounting operations professional to provide maternity leave coverage. The role requires administrative and transactional processing experience with a focus on AR and AP in a fast-paced produce importing and distribution environment. The consultant will learn and operate specialized systems while supporting day-to-day accounting workflows.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Support daily AR and AP transaction processing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with invoice generation, receipt application, and vendor payment runs.
- Maintain documentation and records within specialized accounting systems.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.
- Contribute to process continuity and coverage during the maternity leave period.
Experience Requirements:
- Hands-on AR/AP processing experience in a dynamic operations environment.
- Proficiency with administrative accounting tasks and data entry.
- Ability to learn and navigate specialized or proprietary systems.
- Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures and deadlines.
- Experience in distribution or importing environments preferred.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
