Job Description

**Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite in Navy Yard in Washington, DC.**

Our government client is looking for a Senior SailPoint Systems Engineer to join their team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $80.00 - $85.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Senior SailPoint Systems Engineer:
  • Deploy software updates
  • Report on SailPoint IdentityIQ operations
  • Support the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support
  • Participate in annual Disaster Recovery testing
  • Document recovery plans and offering subject matter expertise to recommend and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with client processes for change management and enhance reporting capabilities
Requirements of the Senior SailPoint Systems Engineer:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years of experience providing business solutions engineering support
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing integrated lifecycle management processes, specifically supporting SailPoint initiatives
  • At least 3 years of hands-on system administration experience with SailPoint
  • Expertise and proficiency in the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform
  • Ability to manage identity solutions effectively in large, complex environments
  • SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer certification
