Contract Length: 3 Months Plus Extension

Our client is a Boston-based financial investment firm that serves over twenty million customers. They employ tens of thousands of individuals and manage trillions of dollars in assets. With almost a century of experience, this financial services company is an industry leader, both nationally and globally. Our client is known for being a great place to work, and they are looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate meetings with the appropriate subject matter experts to elicit specifics on requirements
  • Perform analysis to determine and verify business requirements and functional design / specifications
  • Define and document detailed systems requirements
  • Document and maintain progress of stories, iterations and release for our agile projects through use of agile project tools
  • Work with QA and the business on test scenarios
  • Work with business partners and technology team to define, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Utilizes standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
  • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates
  • Experience producing the following artifacts as needed throughout the SDLC
  • Functional requirements documentation, Use Cases, GUI Screen mockups, Swim lanes
  • Ability to provide effort estimates for analysis deliverables
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Work independently with user to define concepts and under minimal direction of project manager
  • Serves as the conduit between the business units, technology and support teams

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst working as a liaison between the business and technology; working in the enterprise technology organization
  • Experience in product management and business analysis functions
  • Experience in managing global teams
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need
  • Experience with data flow diagrams and document business processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal customer to analyze business needs and functional requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts
  • Excellent grasp of business process and operational workflow modeling
  • Familiarity with Change control process
