Position Summary

Contract Length: 8-12 Months

Our well-established, Boston-based client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, legacy systems, and processes 
  • Coordinate efforts of internal management and external consultants and users
  • Review business processes and make recommendations for optimizations 
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies to expedite system processes
  • Serve as subject matter expert on database related analysis
  • Develop and implement new solutions, ensuring adherence and compliance to internal and governmental regulations, policies, and best practices
  • Ensure timelines are followed and deadlines met
  • Provide daily troubleshooting and analysis of production issues
  • Document and maintain change control records for all system changes

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • At least 7 years of work experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • Demonstrated success in at least one database migration project
  • In-depth experience with SQL database servers and system redesign
  • Experience with MS Project or similar; JIRA; TeamForge; SQL Management Studio
  • Strong in MS Office Suite, including Access and Visio
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and write complex SQL programs
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD9 to ICD10 code mappings
