They are currently looking for a Junior Java Software Developer to join their incredible team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities of the Junior Java Software Developer:

  • Create maintainable, scalable high quality code while adhering to software development best practices and standards
  • Support software configuration management process
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues in the production environment
  • Collaborate with coworkers and customers using Agile Scrum methodology

Requirements of the Junior Java Software Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred) and 3 years of related experience
  • Experience with OOD, design patterns, and data structures
  • Experience with Agile development; ability to apply best practices to all software development activities 
  • Experience with TDD and automated unit tests
  • Experienced with Java 7+, Spring MVC/ Struts, JDBC, Hibernate, Eclipse, Web Services (XML, SOAP/RESTful, Apache CXF) and Git 
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, JQuery, Ajax, Tiles, HTML5, CSS3 
  • Experience with RDMS and database design and troubleshooting (Oracle, PL/SQL) 
  • Knowledge of web application security vulnerabilities and how to address them 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
