Position Summary

Our client is a Boston-based financial investment firm that serves over twenty million customers. They employ tens of thousands of individuals and manage trillions of dollars in assets. With almost a century of experience, this financial services company is an industry leader, both nationally and globally. Our client is known for being a great place to work, and they are looking for a WPF/.Net Developer to join their team.

Responsibilities of the WPF/.Net Developer:

  • Develop innovative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
  • Work closely with users and technical groups in a highly collaborative environment
  • Understand business requirements and contribute to complex software solutions
  • Perform QA testing of all project work; work with moderate direction
  • Author comprehensive documentation for multiple applications to support corporate objectives
  • Provide application support

Requirements of the WPF/.Net Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with VB.NET or .NET Framework
  • At least 3 years of experience with C#
  • At least 1 year with Visual Studio 2015 or 2017
  • At least 1 year with WPF
  • At least 1 year with WCF
  • Outstanding Object Oriented Analysis and Design skills
  • Knowledge of design patterns; MVVM design pattern a plus
  • At least 1 year with REST and/or MS Web API
  • Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle
  • Experience with XML, HTML, SOAP, JSON
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Java, Spring, or Angular are nice to have
