Position Summary

Our well respected client is seeking a Help Desk Manager/Systems Administrator to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Manager/Systems Administrator:

  • Provide technology support for users; oversee one help desk technician 
  • Act as systems administrator for enterprise servers, operating systems, and applications
  • Design, develop, and maintain server infrastructure
  • Perform system and application upgrades as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors to purchase, install, and maintain equipment
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of processes and infrastructure design

Requirements of the Help Desk Manager/Systems Administrator:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience with AD administration/managing group policy
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a help desk
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Group Policy,  TCP/IP, LDAP, HTTP/S, DHCP, WINS, DNS,SQL Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Deployment and support of Windows servers and client systems
  • Virtualization of servers utilizing VMware
  • In depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Clustering
  • Microsoft’s Office 365 mail and product suite administration
  • PowerShell scripting experience or similar
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent team player with strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
