Position Summary

Our well known and highly regarded client is seeking a Technical Customer Service Rep to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Technical Customer Service Rep:

  • Respond to customer service inquiries and issues reported via telephone
  • Document recurring problems or issues in a tracking system
  • Majority of calls are routine but some calls will deviate from the norm
  • May assess user needs and promote alternative products/services
  • Migrate and convert content from source files to a new platform and through test production
  • Ensure accurate and complete data transfer through accounting and data validation  
  • Review database to ensure accurate content
  • Follow established checklists and tracking logs
  • Maintain quality control logs
  • Maintain keen attention to detail and quality control

Requirements of the Technical Customer Service Rep:

  • Knowledge of computer-based content management
  • Proven proofreading and quality control skills
  • Familiar with standard proofreading marks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
