Position Summary

Our well established client is seeking a Senior Help Desk Technician to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Help Desk Technician:

  • Manage software deployments and migrations
  • Set up new users and disconnect former users
  • Assist with and track issue tickets
  • Provide Tier 1 support to local and remote users
  • Perform desktop and laptop imaging for Windows and Mac
  • Perform software installations
  • Configure email on mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and laptop, email, printing, and remote connectivity issues

Requirements of the Senior Help Desk Technician:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Windows, Linux and Mac OS required
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with Windows 7 required, Windows 8 a plus
  • Experience with mobile devices, including iOS and Android
  • Experience with Internet Explorer
  • Experience with MS Office 2010/2013
  • Experience with encrypted email
  • Experience with Microsoft Lync
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with VPN
  • Basic knowledge of networking and telecommunications
  • Customer-service orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
