Position Summary

Our highly regarded client is seeking a Windows Engineer to join their dedicated team.

All applicants must be willing to work on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities of the Windows Engineer:

  • Support Windows, Unix, and VMware information systems in a geographically distributed environment
  • Maintain Windows 2008 R2 - 2016 OS functionality and stability and build new systems
  • Maintain system security; diagnose and resolve issues related to OS, hardware, and applications
  • Perform routine maintenance and respond to break-fix tickets

Requirements of the Windows Engineer:

  • At least 5 years of experience managing Windows Servers in an enterprise level environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in VMware
  • At least 1 year of experience managing Windows Servers in Azure
  • Expert knowledge of RDS (Remote Desktop Services)
  • Tier 2 knowledge of networking and storage concepts and technologies
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work well independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
