Our client seeks an AI Software Engineer with Java and Python expertise to drive design, development, and delivery of GenAI-enabled applications. The role requires experience with LangGraph, MCP, prompt engineering, and modern CI/CD practices. The Engineer will guide technical decisions, ensure code quality, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $63.00 to $73.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design and development of Java and Python services and integrations.
- Build and orchestrate GenAI workflows leveraging LangGraph and MCP.
- Design, evaluate, and refine prompts to optimize model performance and reliability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, security scanning, and deployments.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams to define technical approaches.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and observability across services.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead in application development with Java and Python.
- Hands-on work with GenAI tools, LangGraph, and MCP.
- Practical prompt engineering experience for LLM-based solutions.
- Strong CI/CD experience with modern tooling and practices.
- Background in building scalable, secure, and resilient services.
- Experience in hybrid team collaboration and stakeholder communication.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
