Our client seeks a senior-level SEO professional to provide hands-on support across SEO research, execution, QA, and performance monitoring. This individual will partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate SEO strategy into actionable requirements while driving ongoing optimization efforts across technical SEO, content, and search performance. The role will also help the organization evaluate and adapt SEO strategies for AI-driven search experiences and Generative Engine Optimization.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical SEO audits and ongoing site health assessments.
- Perform SEO QA for Engineering and Product initiatives before and after launch.
- Review requirements, designs, and implementations for SEO impact.
- Execute keyword research and search intent analysis.
- Conduct competitor and SERP analysis.
- Develop on-page SEO recommendations including titles, headings, metadata, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Analyze site architecture, crawlability, and indexation.
- Monitor Googlebot crawling and indexing behavior.
- Identify opportunities to improve rankings, traffic, and organic visibility.
- Evaluate SEO implications for new page types and site experiences.
- Conduct backlink and off-page SEO analysis.
- Measure post-launch performance and provide reporting.
- Build recurring SEO dashboards and performance reports.
- Support SEO testing and experimentation initiatives.
- Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and SEO best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong experience with technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and SEO analytics and reporting.
- Experience performing SEO audits and recommendations independently.
- Ability to work directly with Product and Engineering teams.
- Experience translating SEO strategy into technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and search performance measurement.
- Hands-on experience with SEO performance monitoring and reporting.
- Preferred: Experience with AI Search and Generative Engine Optimization, measuring SEO impact across AI-powered search experiences, and familiarity with evolving search platforms, SERP changes, and AI-driven search trends.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
