Our client seeks a Licensing / Asset Management Analyst to establish the true Microsoft licence position ahead of a upcoming renewal, identify unused and reassignable seats, and prepare a defensible negotiation stance. The role also activates an Adobe chargeback to cost centers, completes an Azure tenancy and consumption review, and leaves Finance with a standing optimization discipline for the annual budget cycle.

Rate: $75.00 to $85.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Microsoft true-up analysis ahead of the renewal, with recommendations aligned to actual seat usage.
- Build the entitlement baseline across the Microsoft estate and reconcile it against actual deployment and assignment.
- Scope the Microsoft renewal for every capability the organization needs it to cover, including endpoint management, compliance features, data loss prevention and audit-log retention, each of which sits behind a particular tier or add-on.
- Establish Adobe consumption by property, then design and activate the chargeback mechanism to cost centers.
- Complete the Azure tenancy and subscription review and develop rationalization recommendations.
- Hand a standing cost optimization discipline to client Finance for the annual budget cycle.
Experience Requirements:
- Software asset management or licensing analysis at enterprise scale, with a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement at the centre of it.
- Has built an entitlement baseline and reconciled it against actual deployment and assignment.
- Has supported a Microsoft renewal or true-up negotiation with the analysis behind it.
- Fluent in Microsoft 365 and Entra licensing SKUs, including which features sit behind which tier.
- Strong Excel, and a habit of showing the derivation behind a number.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
