Our client seeks a Paid Social Manager to drive subscriber growth for Disney+ and Hulu through strategic paid social campaigns. The role centers on paid social strategy, optimization, testing, measurement, and budget management across major platforms, while coordinating with internal teams and an external agency. The position prioritizes strategic leadership over day-to-day campaign execution.

Responsibilities:
- Lead paid social strategy, planning, execution, and optimization for Disney+ and Hulu acquisition campaigns.
- Manage large-scale paid social budgets aligned to subscriber growth objectives.
- Oversee campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
- Partner with the external agency supporting Hulu and the internal paid media team supporting Disney+.
- Evaluate performance and make strategic optimization decisions.
- Develop and manage testing roadmaps for audience targeting, creative, bidding, attribution, measurement, and platform betas.
- Partner with Analytics and Measurement on incrementality testing, A/B testing, conversion lift studies, and attribution analysis.
- Analyze campaign performance to improve subscriber acquisition efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with platform partners.
- Present performance results, strategic recommendations, and testing outcomes to leadership.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Creative, Finance, Analytics, and Media Strategy teams.
- Stay current on social media trends, technologies, and advertising capabilities.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years in paid social, performance marketing, or digital media.
- Experience managing significant media budgets.
- Agency management experience.
- Direct-response and performance marketing background.
- Experience supporting subscriber acquisition, eCommerce, or other conversion-focused businesses.
- Proven testing and measurement strategy development.
- Experience with A/B testing, incrementality testing, conversion lift studies, audience testing, and attribution modeling.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into actions.
- Experience with campaign management platforms such as Smartly, Sprinklr, or similar tools.
- Stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Streaming or media and entertainment experience, work with subscription businesses, multi-brand or matrixed org experience, advanced measurement including MMM and geo testing, platform alpha/beta participation, and global or multi-market media experience.
- Success factors: Rapid understanding of Disney+ and Hulu objectives, ability to navigate differing operating models, strong business acumen, ability to evaluate and challenge agency recommendations, cross-functional collaboration, and a strategic mindset focused on acquisition and efficiency.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
