The organization seeks a full stack engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale, cloud-ready distributed systems. The role focuses on backend services in Java with secondary support for Angular front-end development. The engineer will collaborate with product and architecture to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable solutions. The work advances modern engineering practices that support portfolio management, research, trading, and operations.

Rate: $60.00 to $66.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Support and enhance user experiences through Angular-based front-end development.
- Build solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and quality initiatives.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvements, cloud readiness, and engineering best practices.
- Engage in automated testing to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive modern engineering standards.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years of full stack development with strong Java and backend engineering focus.
- Proficiency with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development.
- Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat or similar application servers.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, secure coding, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with Angular 17+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RxJS.
- Exposure to Jasmine or Karma for front-end testing (preferred).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or uDeploy.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Self-driven and detail-oriented with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
