Our client, a Global Leader in Wealth Management, is looking to engage a Lead Frontend Developer (hands-on) with extensive Angular 7+ and ES6 expertise, for an exciting opportunity to join Wealth Technology Group working in one of Wealth’s technical product teams. They are looking for highly talented engineer to be part of scrum team delivering business and client focused full stack solutions and designs. We are looking for a User Interface Engineer with extensive frontend development expertise to deliver best-in-class solutions across multiple device types (desktop, tablet, mobile, etc.).


Typical daily activities include: working closely with a global team utilizing an Agile development process, building responsive web applications, developing innovative UIs using cutting edge technologies, and brainstorming exciting new ideas and concepts. Leading other UI developers, guiding them and also managing the development tasks.


Please Note: This role REQUIRES a Hybrid on-site/Remote presence: Candidates MUST be prepared and committed to working at the Client's PITTSBURGH, PA offices EVERY Tuesday and Wednesday (with the balance of week worked REMOTELY) immediately from the outset of the engagement.


Note: It is the Client's express intention for these roles to matriculate into an offer of Full-Time Employment (based on performance) as the contract period matures.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall JavaScript Programming experience
  • Experience in developing Single Page Application in Angular 7 (or higher)
  • Strong experience in ES6, RXJS and State Management using NGRX
  • Experience with developing responsive website using Bootstrap CSS3 framework
  • Experience in analyzing and providing solution for UI performance challenges
  • Experience in integrating UI with REST API
  • Experience working with JSON/XML
  • Knowledge of front-end unit testing tools.
  • Experience version control - git is desirable. Understanding of Dev-Ops process and git CI/CD Pipeline knowledge is plus
  • Have knowledge in developing secured front end components
  • Have knowledge in developing Web Components (Custom Elements)
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Have thorough knowledge of the Software Development LifeCycle.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process
  • Proposes innovative, creative technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a MAJOR plus.
