Job Description

Eliassen Group is seeking an Angular Developer to support a UI modernization effort for a high profile government agency in Washington DC. As an Angular Developer, you will create User Interface components from scratch to meet customer requirements. This role requires experience writing asynchronous JavaScript for event driven web applications, and an understanding of current responsive design. You must be able to translate UI mockups into production-ready HTML/CSS/JS using the latest and greatest technologies. 

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Angular Developer:

  • Create and test mobile user interface designs and applications to meet functionality requirements
  • Design application screens, business rules, system menus, and user reports
  • Implement security requirements for set standards
  • Support the integration of application modules and components into system releases
  • Follow release management processes for the transition from development to testing and to production release of systems and/or system changes
  • Follow releases in an Agile environment for application deployment faster and more frequently

Requirements of the Angular Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area
  • Strong Angular and JavaScript framework with demonstrated successful implementation
  • At least 3 years experience with JavaScript and Java technologies and with projects of similar scope
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
  • At least 5 years of experience with all phases of SDLC management
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
