Job Description

Are you a skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS and Big Data solutions?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading financial services client in Boston.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Requirements of the AWS Cloud Engineer:
  • Strong Cloud/AWS experience
  • Strong Python and/or R experience
  • Unix, Oracle/SQL experience
  • At least 6 years of SW development experience
  • At least 3 years of Cloud/Big Data experience
  • CI/CD release automation and deployment: Jenkins, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Strong understanding of databases (Oracle, Netezza) and ETL tools
  • Experience in scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M, Airflow etc.
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto etc.)
  • Good understanding of overall AWS security services like KMS, IAM, etc.
