Eliassen Group is partnered with an employee-owned government services provider, and together, we are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Report Writer / SME in Towson, MD to support a modernization effort for County Government!

In this role, you will...

• Gather requirements and create complex reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
• Create test cases and work with QA team to ensure accurate/complete testing
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand code changes that will impact reports
• Provide guidance on best practices for report writing
• Support end-users in the use of BI tools to query databases and files for report outputs
• Support the acquisition of new skills and areas of expertise
• Assist with report training 

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• Experience using Microsoft SSRS / SSAS
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI 
• Ability to communicate business needs to technical staff, understand customer requirements, and design user-friendly reports 
• Demonstrated knowledge of ETL and data scheme design

It's a plus if you have experience with...

• Safe Software's FME platform
• Data warehouse support activities
• Managing or analyzing programs in government agencies
