Our pharmaceutical client is looking for a Contracts Specialist to join their team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist: - Serve as a liaison with internal/external enterprise partners on all budget and contracts activity
- Communicate relevant information, ensure contract task owners complete their assignments, and facilitate/coordinate business owner involvement
- Confirm completion of goods/services as expected and invoiced
- Ensure payment is processed to terms
- Work with vendors and accounts payable to resolve payment issues
- Provide technical/system guidance and direction to other employees and third-party vendors
- Maintain department trackers in Excel and/or SharePoint
- Manage client and third-party expectations and deliver results within established timelines
Requirements of the Contracts Specialist: - A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech or related industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives & goals
- Must be a self-starter and action oriented
- Must demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrable knowledge of current policies and in a highly regulated environment
- General knowledge of contracting practices, techniques, and industry practices/standards
