Our government client is looking for a Data Architect to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Data Architect:
  • Coordinate and collaborate with data consumers, system designers, and developers in their day-to-day functions.
  • Lead the development of highly innovative products/solutions, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field
  • Continually assess advancements in technologies to gauge and recommend better solutions for the customer
  • Mentor and coach technical staff, proactively shape product vision, and support multiple internal/external initiatives to achieve mission success
  • Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards or operational plans that position the client competitively in the marketplace
  • Provide technical advice/input that impact strategic client outputs and client business results.
Requirements of the Data Architect:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in engineering, technology architecture and delivery
  • At least 8 years of experience in Data Warehouse methodologies and hands-on experience in one or more ETL tools 
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing enterprise data warehouse solutions on the Cloud
  • At least 5 years of experience with designing and developing the strategy for and building data, analytics solutions and Business intelligence solutions
  • At least 4 years of experience with Enterprise and/or Legacy data migration efforts
  • Experience working with relational databases
  • Experience supporting complex Federal IT programs
  • Experience with Cloud Migration, Continuous Integration Tools, Data Migration, Data Operations and DevOps
