Our government client is looking for a Data Center Engineer to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Responsibilities of the Data Center Engineer: - Monitor Network, Servers and Data Center activities
- Track and maintain multiple communication channels while aggregating the information into one location
- Lead bridge meetings with the goal of resolving Major Incidents and updating appropriate parties throughout the process
Requirements of the Data Center Engineer: - At least 3 years of related experience managing data networks and cloud infrastructure
- Possess advanced skills and knowledge in routing, switching, and load balancing and firewall management
- Must have strong understanding and experience in Incident Management
- Must be willing to work FT Shift (7P-7A; Sat/Sun) and 11P-7A; Mon/Tues)
- Ability to work under pressure, multitasking several projects under certain time constraints
- Work on-site to escort vendors and other personnel as needed
