Our financial services client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $65.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:
  • Integrate DevOps practices seamlessly into the mobile app development lifecycle
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code principles
  • Automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure components
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments
  • Enable efficient and rapid delivery of new features and updates to end-users
  • Establish robust monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve system issues
  • Ensure the mobile app's optimal performance
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members
Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 to 10 years of software engineering and DevOps experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, PowerShell, Kubelets, Jenkins Core, Git flow, and Artifactory
  • Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project
  • Experience with Jenkins and Git 
  • Skilled in Cloud AWS Kubernetes Services with container-based deployment
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, integration, testing, deployment workflows, automation, process development, and process changes
