Requirements of the DevOps Systems Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience in systems engineering focused on development and automation
  • Fundamental background in Information Security and Endpoint protection practices in a large enterprise environment
  • Experience creating self-service or process/monitoring automation via development and scripting
  • Strong Java, scripting, and API/REST development skills in a Linux environment
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies: AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience with Agile/DevOps practices across the full SDLC
  • Experience with GIT, Stash, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Confluence, and Jira
  • Excellent written communication and verbal/presentation skills
  • Ability to support and maintain production environments
