Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Systems Engineer, with broad expertise in electro optical systems?

Are you interested in working for a leading organization on mission-critical initiatives?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Danbury!

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer:

  • Provide engineering support for the integration of new and legacy systems
  • Develop and maintain requirements for customer platforms
  • Provide allocation and decomposition of requirements across multiple disciplines
  • Support the development of next generation electro-optical systems

Requirements of the Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in systems architecture/requirements development and implementation
  • Experience with US military systems, technologies, and common protocols strongly preferred
  • Experience with systems engineering on distributed embedded hardware and software systems
  • Experience with system and design validation; verification development and support
  • Ability to deliver cross-functional requirements development
