We're looking for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to help develop software and systems.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Embedded Software Engineer:
- Support systems development of key battery integration product
- Build systems to interact with batteries and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform
- Collaborate across teams to build innovative solutions in an Agile environment
- Develop high quality software solution following industry proven best practices and internal standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and approaches
- Coordinate with engineering team for short and long term fixes
Requirements of the Embedded Software Engineer:
- 4+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of development experience in embedded C++
- 2+ years of experience with UNIX
- 2+ years of experience with CMake
- 1+ years of experience using git
- Database experience – preferably SQL
- Experience designing APIs
- Python experience
- Experience writing test cases
