**100% Remote**

Eliassen Group is partnered with a global consulting organization focused on building from scratch applications systems for federal government clients.

Due to this position supporting federal government business, qualified candidates will need to obtain a Public Trust federal clearance.

Responsibilities of the Python Developer:

• Design and implement frontend user interfaces in modern programming language to best suit users’ needs and create integrated functionality to a backend structure
• Configure software products and systems to deploy code
• Develop product and platform prototypes
• Keep track of software application performance
• Collaborate with project team members to solve complex problems
• Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
• Test new ideas before implementing
• Perform static and dynamic scans and address critical vulnerabilities

Core Requirements of the Python Developer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5 years of professional, relative software development experience with modern technologies including Python, Django (Rest-Django), JavaScript and modern front end frameworks like VueJS, SQL/database structures and AWS services stack
• Agile development and integration of various components
• Strong API development
• Strong experience designing and developing full stack solutions, from building UI to ensuring the UI connects to API calls to the back end, and back end web services
• Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
