Our client, a leader in their industry, needs a talented Infrastructure Analyst to join their web and connectivity services team.

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Analyst:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler devices
  • Perform NetScaler patching and upgrades
  • Manage work requests for NetScaler virtual IP addresses (VIPs)
  • Work with application teams to troubleshoot load balancing issues
  • Apply SSL certificates to infrastructure components
  • Maintain standard documentation
  • Create scripts to automate routine work
  • Participate in a 24x7 on call rotation
Requirements of the Infrastructure Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relate discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with Citrix NetScaler administration including load balancing, HA configurations, GSLB configuration, content filtering/switching
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience troubleshooting issues where the NetScaler is part of the network path
  • Fundamental understanding of LAN, WAN, IP Addressing, VLANs, subnetting, routing, ACLs and firewall technologies
  • Knowledge and experience with scripting related to NetScaler
  • Basic understanding of web server (like IIS, or WebSphere) configuration and how it works
  • Strong problem-solving skills, develop solutions and take actions to resolve them
  • Excellent organizational skills: and able to balance workload and manage multiple efforts simultaneously
  • Self-directed worker, able to work independently, with limited oversight
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills to foster effective working relationships with the team, customers and vendors
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately using oral and written communications
