We have a wonderful opportunity for a talented IT Service Desk Specialist with our client in Raleigh. Qualified applicants must be local to the area.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Responsibilities of the IT Service Desk Specialist:

• Provide prompt, courteous, and comprehensive service-request support
• Support problem resolution and escalation of support requests
• Resolve issues effectively and follow through to appropriate resolution
• Install and configure various hardware and software and upgrades
• Support, test, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS problems
• Log and maintain all service tickets and meet SLAs

• Basic knowledge of: 
  • IP networking, including TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP
  • Microsoft technologies and best practices/strategies
  • Antivirus/malware and patch management technologies
  • Project management principles/methodologies
  • ITIL/ITSM principles and applications in IT Service
  • Enterprise applications and their related architectures
