Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated Jira Administrator to provide expertise and support for Atlassian tools.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Jira Administrator:
  • Install, administer, and improve Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk, and third party features
  • Lead configuration and documentation efforts for client Jira and Confluence 
  • Collaborate with customers to facilitate custom workflows, fields, screens, dashboards, and reports
  • Generate and oversee complex configuration elements such as project workflows and screen schemes
  • Support the implementation of solutions with client admins and users
Requirements of the Jira Administrator:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience configuring and administering Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to script Jira customizations using Java, Groovy, and/or JavaScript
  • Experience with Jira Server and Jira Cloud implementations and knowledge of pros and cons
  • Conceptual and practical comprehension of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile Frameworks
