Job Description

We have an exciting 100% remote opportunity for a Junior Project Manager with our industry-leading client. The Jr Project Manager assistant in the management and delivery of project within the clients Project Management Office. The Jr Project Manager provides full life-cycle project assistance of assigned projects, including IT infrastructure, networking, and applications deployments. Projects range from smaller, short-scheduled efforts to larger, cross-departmental initiatives.

Rate: $50 - $55 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Assist and help implement projects to meet business needs and objectives. Consult with stakeholders, user groups, and technical staff to describe and define scope of project, technical specifications, resource requirements, schedule, and provide suggested actions to complex technical problems in order to meet project and/or plan objectives.
• Maintain project plans and schedules throughout project lifecycles. Capture, document, monitor, and/or mitigate risks and issues.
• Provide on-going support for assigned projects
• Manage the tracking, updating and reporting of project statuses in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system of record.

Requirements:

•  2+ years of experience leading project planning and delivery within a PMO environment.
• Working effectively both independently and in complex teams.
• Excellent written and verbal executive communication skills.
• Thorough operational understanding of project management frameworks
• Experience with Smartsheet strongly preferred 
• Bachelors Degree 
• PMP certification or equivalent certification or experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
