Job Description

**Hybrid in San Diego, CA.**

Our government client is looking for a Mid-level C++ Developer to join their team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $75.00 - $80.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Mid-level C++ Developer:
  • Research, design, prototype and develop solutions for cryptographic devices
  • Develop performant software in resource-constrained environments
  • Perform full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing/automation, and integration
  • Develop interfaces to high assurance crypto modules
Requirements of the Mid-level C++ Developer:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4-8 years of experience in programming and development with C++
  • Experienced with coding cryptographic and other low-level algorithms
  • Experienced at developing code from a detailed set of requirements and designs
  • Developer experience with Linux O/S environment and operation
  • Experience with Kernel module programming for Linux
  • Experience with Boot processing including file system (data at rest) encryption
  • Experience with Key generation/derivation functions (KDS)
  • Experience with the use and implementation of hashing algorithms
  • Experience with auditing and audit protection and verification mechanisms
  • Ability to appropriately document software during development
  • Work well in a team environment and have excellent written and communication skills
