Job Description

Our Sports / Entertainment / Media Client is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join their live/dynamic infrastructure. You will be required to quickly, securely, and efficiently provide Network Infrastructure Services to various stakeholders across the enterprise including the League Office, Media Studio, Partners, and Vendors.

This position will focus on Network Automation while still handling network support duties with a goal of the Automation handling much of the support in the future, thru enabling Self Service for other teams and identifying / resolving issues programmatically.

Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated solutions for network configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and support
  • Design and implement scripts, tools, and workflows to optimize network infrastructure
  • Collaborate with network architects and engineers to define automation requirements and develop solutions that align with business objectives
  • Utilize Python or other third-party tools to automate network workflows with a goal of providing Network Self Service via chatbots like Slack
  • Integrate network automation solutions with existing systems and tools, such as network management platforms, ticketing systems, DNS, and IP Address management.
  • Implement version control systems (e.g. Git) for managing automation code and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network automation solutions, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation initiatives • Support all aspects of current network infrastructure

Must Have Skills

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
