Our government client is looking for a Network Emulation Testbed Engineer to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret Clearance. Responsibilities of the Network Emulation Testbed Engineer: - Upgrade, test, and configure network components on the Emulation Test Bed
- Support system testing by performing various tasks utilizing knowledge and experience in networking technologies
- Implement test-scenario development and network traffic stimulation
- Implement system configurations, test-run execution and monitoring, network-data capture and data storage
- Analyze the network data collected from the test runs and producing data products
- Develop relevant performance metrics
- Produce network topology graphs and correlating its impact on network connectivity during the test run
- Identify anomalous network behavior and providing explanations and/or directions on how to resolve the issue
