Hybrid | 2 days per week onsite required in Woburn, MA

We're looking for a talented Network Security Engineer to join our client's IT Operational Security team. In this role you will help design, maintain, and enhance a global enterprise IT security program.

• Design, review, and regularly assess firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL, antivirus, and other network component policies
• Investigate intrusion and hacking incidents, collect incident responses, and carry out forensic investigations
• Design, configure, implement, and maintain security platforms and associated software
• Determine innovative technologies and processes to improve environmental security
• Design response policies to existing threats and security issues
• Develop documentation to track system vulnerabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in IT network service or IT security required
• Experience in network design and implementation required
• Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures, and standards required
• Experience with fiber network management preferred
• Knowledge of Information Security Standards (ISO 27001/27002, ITIL, etc.) preferred
• Up to 15% travel may be required
