Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Power BI Admin/Developer to join a data visualization team tasked with implementing Power BI at the executive level within a large financial organization.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

 Requirements of the Power BI Admin/Developer:
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • 3-5 years of advanced and hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Tenant Administration
  • Good understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts and technologies
  • Ability to setup and automate Power BI platform-related activites via PowerShell/Python/Shell scripting
  • Ability to build CI/CD pipeline and migrate Power BI data sets/dashboards/reports between workspaces using Power BI Rest APIs/Power Platform
  • Ability to build framework to capture Power BI user tracking/logging, usage monitoring, anomalies detection in published data sets and reporting at an enterprise level using Power Platform
  • Ability to build framework that can be used to take regular backup of workspace content and data sets using Power BI Rest APIs/PBI cmdlets
  • Experience working with Power BI and Snowflake in Direct Query mode
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL, including data analysis using SQL on data sources
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a globally dispersed organization
  • Strong project and time management skills across multiple, competing priorities 
  • Exposure to Snowflake Cloud data warehouse
  • Exposure to Agile methodology
