Job Description

Our Fortune 500 communications client is looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead software development projects from end to end. 

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Manage project life cycle, from definition through implementation
  • Develop project plan and drive project execution according to schedule
  • Establish effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders
  • Ensure effective change management throughout course of project
  • Prepare project related documentation, status reports, and budgets
Requirements of the Project Manager:
  • At least 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on custom software development initiatives
  • Experience working on digital projects is a must
  • Experience with various PM methodologies
  • Experience supporting technical and non-technical initiatives
  • Strategic thought leader with an ownership mindset
  • Ability to gain clarity on ambiguous assignments
  • Strong coaching, interpersonal skills
  • MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word
