Job Description

A healthcare industry leader and innovator is looking for a talented Project Manager to lead initiatives. This is a hybrid opportunity; qualified applicants must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Durham and be willing and able to work onsite for trainings and meetings, at least once per month.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to various finance initiatives 
• Coordinate projects and make detailed plans to accomplish goals and provide regular progress updates
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to service managers
• Review and recommend cost estimates and account coding for proper tracking against budget

Requirements of the Project Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience required
• Strong knowledge of accounting required
• Ability to work independently and manage work tasks
• Strong leadership to provide support and constructive feedback
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
