Our insurance client is looking for a Project/Program Manager to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Project/Program Manager:
  • Develop project plans and recommendations in support of Departmental/Company objectives and leads implementation
  • Negotiate for resources to staff projects effectively with appropriate skill sets
  • Ensure a quality end product through close customer contact
  • Assess customer/client satisfaction through direct feedback/evaluation
  • Coordinate development and implementation of policies and procedures as well as development of compliance measurements Control and monitors project effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with necessary audit requirements
  • Represent the client in meetings with external parties
  • Assist with analysis and development of business processes
  • Develop escalation process to channel issues and concerns to appropriate parties
  • Evaluate project risks, develop contingency plans and respond to change in risk as the project progresses
  • Develop effective business process improvement initiatives and communication plans
  • Perform analytic functions and coach others in analytical production, technical and other areas
  • Propose a variety of solutions to business issues/problems utilizing appropriate analysis tools
  • Document and present project management results through the development of criteria, issue analysis papers and reports
  • Develop and track budgets, operating plans and financial cost forecasts to support the objectives of the project
  • Provide indirect reports with well-defined expectations, ongoing feedback, coaching/ mentoring and/or training
Requirements of the Project/Program Manager:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be comfortable with fluid change and movement
  • Solid negotiation skills working with stakeholders for problem solving on cross functional teams
  • Strong preference to those with Agile Waterfall experience
  • Willing to consider candidates with Scrum Master Certification and working on their PMP certification
