Job Description

Our client, a leading media organization, is looking for a talented QA Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, and AWS experience a must!

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $45-$60/hr.

Responsibilities of the QA Engineer:
  • Manage the creation of well written unit, end-to-end, and integration testing for new and existing features
  • Perform manual testing on new features coming down the pipeline
  • Manage quality assurance of software version updates 
  • Migrate repositories to Typescript
  • Create detailed bug reports
Requirements of the QA Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of programming and designing experience
  • At least 2 years of programming UI in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • At least 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS Cloud services
  • At least 1 year of programming experience in Vue.JS and TypeScript required
  • Knowledge of the following required:
    • JavaScript/Typescript
    • Vue.js and Vuetify 2.0
    • React.js and Framer motion
    • AWS Cloud services (i.e. AWS API Gateways, Lambda’s, IoT, Cognito, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, EKS, Fargate, ECS, Glue and Kinesis)
    • HTML, CSS, JSON
    • Git
    • Jestjs.io
    • Cypress.io
    • Mocha
    • PostgreSQL
    • Redis
    • Node-Red
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
