Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect with our industry-leading defense client in Alexandria.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Architect:

  • Offer architectural and technical expertise to develop a transition plan for enterprise future state
  • Engage with customer organization and program governance to implement transition plan
  • Research and advise on analysis of alternatives relating to upgrade/transition
  • Review and analyze architectures to ensure compliance with transition plan
  • Oversee development and transition plans

Requirements of the Senior Architect:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 18 years of experience; or,
  • Master's degree and at least 16 years of experience
  • Expertise in at least two:
    • OS/virtualization: Linux, Windows, VMware
    • Databases: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL
    • Servers: HP, Dell, IBM
    • Middleware: JBOSS, WebSphere
    • Monitoring solutions: Splunk
    • Programming languages: Java, .NET, C#
  • Experience performing Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
