Our biotechnology client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $69.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:
  • Write detailed, GxP-compliant SDLC - business requirements, use cases, As-Is and To-Be business flow diagrams, functional specifications, data requirements, and any other project-specific documentation
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to elicit and understand business requirements
  • Translate business to technical requirements
  • Document business processes and use cases
  • Gain approvals for documentation
  • Oversee organization of all project documents and ensure they are complete, current and archived properly
  • Assist the Validation Testing team with test script planning, preparation and execution
  • Create/update system management documentation
  • Work with the business areas to identify and prioritize system requirements throughout the duration of the project
  • Verbally present software functionality to business stakeholders and facilitate question and answer discussions
  • Support deployment and hypercare activities
Requirements of the Senior Business Analyst:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Must have experience with Planisware
  • Experience with Product management - change and release management, validation planning and execution
  • Ability to interact with business users, technical IT groups, project managers, senior management, outsourced service providers, and vendors
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Familiarity with GxP, CFR 21 Part 11 and systems validation
