We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with our industry-leading client in San Francisco.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

  • Conduct business interviews and collaborative design sessions with stakeholders to understand business requirements and fit to technology landscape 
  • Establish KPIs that will help us measure adoption and success 
  • Analyze product usage statistics and develop insightful adoption dashboards
  • Act as an extension of the employee, being a proactive evangelist with GapTech and the employee to accomplish defined objectives 
  • Provide inputs into, or develop, implementation strategy of new applications, identifying retirement opportunities of old or duplicative technologies 
  • Lead business facing implementation tasks including testing and training development and delivery 
  • Review test plans and team up with UAT and QA partners to release high quality products 
  • Serve as a change agent, facilitator, coach, process expert for to ensure high adoption of new technologies 
  • Create change management, communications, promotional materials, and training materials, as well as deliver training to end users 
  • Partner with corporate and tech communications on content for launch and ongoing support 
  • Partner with vendor and communications teams to define an engagement & adoption strategy, inclusive of end user-facing marketing materials, training guides, tutorials 
  • Build presentations for user education, executive management reviews, and product marketing roadshows 
  • Understand competitive landscape (technology and business) in area of ownership and participate in the development of the strategic roadmap 
  • Enable adoption and sustainability of capabilities delivered to the business while supporting continuity and productivity of business operations 
  • Provide front-line business support to quickly resolve issues for our employees, minimizing business disruption through guidance and communication of solutions to the problems business end users experience using our systems and solutions 
  • As advocate for our employees, drives resolution of issues through solid problem/defect management practices 
  • Perform ongoing use analysis and generate business requirements in support of the products’ evolution 

Requirements of the Senior Business Systems Analyst:

  • BA/BS Degree (required)
  • Experience in presenting, demonstrating and facilitating technology concepts to less technical colleagues 
  • Experience in Project Management and Agile best practices preferred - Project planning and managing delivery to deadlines 
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management & business analysis
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a technology role
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools (required) 
  • Proactively communicates and builds strong working relationships along with the ability to communicate to all levels clearly, concisely and effectively in written and verbal form
  • Awareness of competitor technology, trends, innovation and challenges in retail industry 
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speed
  • Prior experience developing change management, communications and training materials
  • Ability to perform analysis and communicate findings/conclusions in a clear, concise manner, both verbally and in written form (documents, presentations)
  • Proficient in conducting presentations, both virtually and in person
  • Experience with migration of one technology to another (e.g. Box to OneDrive)
