Job Description

Are you a highly experienced Java Developer with the desire to join a leading government integrator? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Baltimore.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer:

  • Develop, implement, and document technical solutions
  • Present concepts using UML; challenge designs and incorporate feedback
  • Create maintainable, scalable code utilizing software development best practices
  • Proactively ensure software deliverable quality and continuous improvement

Requirements of the Senior Java Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 11 years of experience; or, Master's degree and 9 years of experience
  • Experience with JEE, Struts, Spring framework, SOAP/RESTful web services, XML, PL/SQL, Oracle, and DB2
  • Experience with web services technology and security
  • Experience with automated unit testing, TDD, BDD, and Cucumber
  • Experience with front end technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
  • Experience with object oriented design and programming and building responsive web pages
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment
