Job Description

Our client needs a Senior Project Manager to oversee Intelligent Transportation Systems Support Team initiatives and deliver projects on time, on budget, and with quality.

• Operate with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Help define project scope, PM/SDLC approach, milestones, tasks, deliverables, and resource requirements with a focus on security
• Develop and maintain project plan, status reports, risk and issue logs, budget/ongoing project forecast
• Negotiate project resource needs and competing priorities with IT and PMO resource managers
• Create and execute strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
• Manage, assess, and negotiate project scope changes and identify dependencies 
• Effectively identify and resolve project issues

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related
• 10+ years of project management experience leading IT projects
• Demonstrated experience with various SDLC methodologies
• Knowledge of the following desired, not required:
• IP and serial based communications
• Advanced Traffic Management Systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity
• SCADA technology
• PMP desired
