 Our Fortune 500 Media Client is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer who is passionate about large scale support within Global Resilience & Business Continuity team. Someone who cares about quality of data, uptime, performance, continuous deployment, design principles, and test-driven development. In this role, we work closely with fellow developer and technology members to enable modern, high-reliable data using a combination of in-house and off-the-shelf technologies. You’ll be crucial in the team’s process when translating high-level requirements into maintainable, efficient, and scalable solutions for our emergency messaging, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, and the risk management resilience applications tool suite. This role will also support, maintaining and expand existing departmental applications to fluid environments.

Role Details: Accountabilities / Duties /Key Projects (Essential Functions of the job)

  • Design, build and support scalable departmental applications.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to lead through all aspects of the development cycle
  • Work with our external partners to develop, debug and deploy applications
  • Help build a culture of good development processes and practices
  • Work closely with other developers and product teams to meet fixed deadlines
  • Work in all phases of software development
  • Participate in design and code reviews with other developers, giving and taking feedback
  • Experience with technical writing and design documentation
  • Strong experience designing and implementing maintainable, scalable, and pragmatic software solutions
  • Strong communication with proven ability to work well within a team.
  • Provide a comprehensive assessment of data quality based upon the existing implementation vs new feature development.
  • Provide overall application support and handle release cycle.
  • Establish version control, source code management
  • Work across the development team and business partners to identify improvement opportunities, and drive understanding and consensus for the implementation of new processes, procedures, or releases.
  • Responsible for change management, problem management, disaster recovery management, and release management for the application solutions we support.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years supporting application development, testing, documenting requirements, and deployment of projects, while also being adept in the development and implementation of Salesforce.
  • 6+ years of Salesforce and Lightning experience. 
  • Knowledge of Agile processes and principals; proficiency in prioritizing and leading Scrum team backlogs.
  • Strong interest and competence towards continuous improvement, process efficiency and scale, and technology and automation solutions.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.             
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design, and data.
  • OnSolve/SendWordNow exposure.
  • Experience with Asana and ServiceNow.
  • Media and Entertainment experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, while also comfortable learning, using, and explaining new technology.
  • Superb communication (both verbal and written) skills, along with documentation and report generation.
  • Optimal analytical and conceptual thinking skills & the ability to influence collaborators and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Lifecycle Management experience.
