Responsibilities of the Senior Validation Engineer:
  • Understand and document system requirements
  • Proactively lead requirements gathering sessions with SMEs and IT teams
  • Work across teams to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Collaborate closely with QA Lead to develop SOP for IT practices
  • Ensure GxP validated solutions comply with FDA regulations 
  • Manage and lead vendor relations/calls
Requirements of the Senior Validation Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline
  • At least 7 years of pharmaceutical GxP systems validation experience
  • Experience conducting risk assessment: knowledge of current industry best practices
  • Proven knowledge of IT quality system validation best practices
  • Strong knowledge of best practices related to FDA, EMA, GxP, etc.
  • Familiarity with SDLC within regulated biotech/pharma industry required
  • Clear and effective communication skills; documentation, attention to detail, organizational skills
