Our government client is looking for a Software Engineer to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret Clearance. Responsibilities of the Software Engineer: - Support upgrades, testing and configuration of network components on the Emulation Test Bed
- Perform test-scenario development, network traffic stimulation, system configurations, and test-run execution
- Analyze network data collected from the test runs and producing data products for management review
- Develop and implement a test plan to validate major rewrite of a backend processor in C++
- Design and develop new GUI screen to display network performance statistics
- Update the TRANCE backend PCAP parser to recognize packets from various VLAN locations
- Develop automated and customized set of SQL queries to analyze network statistics
- Troubleshoot external network issues as they arise
