Job Description

**Role will be remote to start and transition to on-site once restrictions are lifted.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:
  • Offer technical and domain expertise to translate enterprise migration plans to desired future state
  • Research and advise on analysis of alternatives to determine solution recommendations
  • Review and analyze architecture to ensure compliance with transition plans and approach
  • Provide oversight for development and transition plans
  • Work with SMEs and architect leads to ensure solutions meet mission objectives
Requirements of the Solutions Architect:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 14 years of experience
  • Experience performing Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
  • Expertise in at least two areas: 
    • OS and virtualization (Linux, Windows, VMware)
    • Database (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL)
    • Servers (Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM)
    • Platform/middleware (JBOSS, Websphere)
    • Monitoring (Splunk, AppDynamics)
    • Programming (Java, .NET, C#)
  • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills
