Job Description

**100% REMOTE**

We're looking for a Sr. Drupal Developer to join our client in Newton. You will design, develop, implement, and support mission-critical software applications and services based on Drupal/PHP and Gatsby React platforms.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Sr. Drupal Developer:
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications; build solutions that drive integration and innovation
  • Provide strategic vision and direction for short, medium, and long-term roadmap of eCommerce platform
  • Develop high quality web/mobile applications and integrations
  • Support translating business requirements into technical specifications 
  • Maintain high standards of software quality and delivery through adherence to proven Agile SDLC practices
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, technical leadership, and code reviews for solutions written in Drupal 8/PHP 7 and Gatsby React
  • Lead DevOps eCommerce team as it continuously optimizes DevOps processes
Requirements of the Sr. Drupal Developer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, emphasis on software development ideal
  • At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in full stack development
  • Experience building solutions in Drupal 8 and writing in PHP7
  • Extensive experience with modern JS libraries and frameworks, responsive frameworks, and current front end technologies (CSS3, HTML5)
  • Experience building and consuming APIs and RESTful web services
  • Experience with React (Gatsby React preferred) and front end architecture
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps related to modern SDLC practices
  • Solid understanding of Agile software development practices
  • Solid understanding of QA/UAT processes and related technologies
  • Hospitality experience desired but not required
